Thesis

Having originally been inspired by the ways that mental illnesses are portrayed in society, I dedicated a year of my studies at
Elon University  researching how these perceptions may impact those who suffer, analyzing whether the effects are positive or negative.
Through social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, it has become evident that my generation in particular has
found the need to share their experiences with their own mental illnesses to a public audience. My goal was to raise appropriate
awareness towards these illnesses and eliminate the negative pre-imposed stigmas that have been produced via social networking.

The New England school of art & design field work

At The New England School of Art & Design,  I participated in intensive coursework and elaborate projects exploring the basics of AutoCAD and a variety of Adobe applications, ultimately composing a series of commercial designs which would later be presented to the Council for Interior Design Accreditation. I drafted and rendered plans both manually and digitally creating material boards appropriate for the spaces being designed.

individual projects & case studies

Individual case studies have become a key component in developing my style as a designer.
Utilizing my knowledge and abilities of design while using different objects and topics of conversation have
helped me understand, design, and create concepts with visuals that communicate the intended message.
